Clibo is a local-first clipboard history for macOS. It keeps clipboard history on your Mac and shows it on a slim dock at your screen edge, with a quick panel on a global shortcut.
Requirements
- macOS 26 Tahoe or later.
- Mac with Apple Silicon.
- Internet access for license purchases, activation and checks, and updates.
Common Questions
Where is my clipboard history stored?
Clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac under the user's Application Support folder. Clibo does not upload clipboard history to a Clibo backend.
Why does Clibo ask for Accessibility access?
Clibo uses Accessibility APIs to detect secure text fields so sensitive entries, such as password fields, are not recorded.
Does Clibo contact websites for copied links?
Only if you turn on Fetch Page Titles for Copied Links in Privacy settings. It is off by default, and addresses on your own network or links that carry credentials or tokens are never requested.
How do purchases work?
Clibo needs a license from the first launch; there is no free trial. Purchase a license through Dodo Payments, then paste the license key from the purchase page or your receipt email into the activation window, or into Settings > License.
Troubleshooting
If clipboard history is not updating, check whether recording is paused and that your license is active. If the dock is not showing, check that a license is active and that Display is not set to Hide in Settings > Edge Dock.
